The results in Dubrovnik-Neretva County are similar. In the first seven months arrivals increased by 7 p.c, and overnight stays by 5 %. Hotel traffic increased by seven %, while the camps and personal owners noticed a decline of three and 2 p.c.

“The first info shows mainly the rise in cash compared with last year, but we are going to see what will occur with the pricetag side of the total business,” claimed Vladimir Bakic, director of TZ Dubrovnik-Neretva county.

President of Dubrovnik travel agencies points out that the most opulent hostels achieved the most satisfactory results and are scheduled from May to late Sep. Hotels with five stars are literally sold out.

“We are achieving superb prices and according to the situation as it is now, a recession has passed,” claimed Luca Baca from Grand Villa Argentina – a lovely villa found in an exclusive area, near the important middle of Dubrovnik.
