Wizards And Witches Vs . Vampires And Werewolves — Who Prevailed At The movie Awards MTV 2011?
The 2011 MTV movie Awards kicked off last June 5, 2011 at Los Angels, California. The show was hosted by Saturday Night Live (SNL) comedian Jason Sudeikis. It was filled with brilliant and astonishing celebs from the world of motion pictures and music as well. These celebrities include Ashton Kutcher, Elle Fanning, Blake Lively, Chris Evans, and Ryan Reynolds, who served as presenters for various awards.
fans of Harry Potter wizards and witches were quite unhappy because the vampires and werewolves of the Twilight film series took home about five golden popcorns including the Best Movie for the third installment of the series The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Danielle Radcliffe and Emma Watson of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 laid low as Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart brought home the Best Male Performance and Best Female Performance for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, respectively. But, it is not a total loss for Harry Potter fans out there because Tom Felton grabbed the Best Villain award for his performance at the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 as the Death Eater Draco Malfoy.
The most surprising moment in this award ceremony was probably when Taylor Lautner, the hunky werewolf Jacob Black, received a kiss from Robert Pattinson, the scorching vampy Edward Cullen, when the latter and his leading leady Kristen Stewart won the Best Kiss award for their film Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Well, were you surprised when you saw it? You don’t have to worry, neither R-Pat nor Taylor Lautner is gay.
Another highlight of the 2011 MTV Movie Awards was the first official release of the trailer for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1. The trailer was full of thrilling and exciting scenes to watch including the most awaited wedding of Edward and Bella. Thanks a bunch 2011 MTV Movie Awards for taking us to the first sneak peak of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1. I can’t wait to see it on cinemas on November 18, 2011.
