Harry Potter Vs Twilight — Who Took home More Golden Popcorns At The MTV movie Awards?
Last June 5, 2011 at Los Angeles, California, the 2011 MTV movie Awards kicked off. The show was hosted by Saturday Night Live (SNL) comedian Jason Sudeikis. As expected, the show was jam-packed with different personalities from the world of entertainment. Some of the presenters include Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Ashton Kutcher, Chris Evans, and Elle Fanning.
fans of Harry Potter wizards and witches were quite disappointed because the vampires and werewolves of the Twilight film series took home about five golden popcorns including the Best Movie for the third installment of the series The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Twilight Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart defeated Harry Potter celebs Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson for the Best Male Performance and Best Female Performance, respectively. Not so bad at all for all Harry Potter fans out there as your favorite Death Eater Draco Malfoy (of course he was portrayed by Tom Felton) took home the Best Villain award.
The most surprising moment in this award ceremony was probably when Taylor Lautner, the hunky werewolf Jacob Black, received a kiss from Robert Pattinson, the scorching vampy Edward Cullen, when the latter and his leading leady Kristen Stewart won the Best Kiss award for their movie Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Surprised eh? Girls, don’t worry, Taylor and Robert are straight.
Another highlight of the 2011 MTV Movie Awards was the first official release of the trailer for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1. The trailer was full of thrilling and exciting scenes to watch including the most awaited wedding of Edward and Bella. Thanks a bunch 2011 MTV Movie Awards for taking us to the first sneak peak of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1. I can’t wait to see it on cinemas on November 18, 2011.
Below is a complete list of the MTV Movie Awards victors:

Star Trek – The Original Series, Episode 34: Amok Time [VHS]

Easily one of the best episodes from the original Star Trek series, “Amok Time” was written by the novelist Theodore Sturgeon, who came up with a story about a Vulcan mating cycle that occurs every seven years and drives the normally stolid, logical, pointy-eared humanoids wild. When Spock (Leonard Nimoy) is suddenly caught in the grip of pon farr, a crazy-making urge to mate, he sets a cours…
