Wizards And Witches Against Vampires And Werewolves — Who Succeeded At The 2011 MTV movie Awards?

The City of Angels in California has served as an important location for the 2011 MTV movie Awards last June 5, 2011. The show was hosted by Saturday Night Live (SNL) comedian Jason Sudeikis. Lots of personalities from the movie industry as well as those from the music world, filled and added hotness to the event. Chris Evans, Ryan Reynolds, Ashton Kutcher, Elle Fanning, and Blake Lively were few of the award presenters.

fans of Harry Potter wizards and witches were quite disappointed because the vampires and werewolves of the Twilight film series took home about five golden popcorns including the Best Movie for the third installment of the series The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Twilight Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart defeated Harry Potter celebs Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson for the Best Male Performance and Best Female Performance, respectively. Not so bad at all for all Harry Potter fans out there as your favorite Death Eater Draco Malfoy (of course he was portrayed by Tom Felton) took home the Best Villain award.

I guess the most shocking moment in the event was when Twilight hunks Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner shared a kiss when the winner of the Best Kiss award was announced. It wasn’t actually scandalous as R-Pat kissed Taylor at the cheek only. Well, were you surprised when you saw it? You don’t have to worry, neither R-Pat nor Taylor Lautner is gay.

One of the highlights of the event was the debut of yet another installment of the Twilight series, which is the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1. It was full of exciting scenes including the anticipated marriage of the Edward Cullen and Bella Swan.
